As the kickoff to Perkasie Recreation Departments annual Fall Fest, please join us on Sunday, October 4th for the “Bebop Bolt at Bucks” Color Dash!!

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to benefit both Got Strings? Youth Orchestra programs and Bucks
County Community scholarships.

It couldn’t be more fun than participating and raising money at this awesome and colorful 5K fun run! A morning of activities will be filled with performances from are musicians and musical groups including members of the Got Strings? Youth Orchestras, contests, giveaways and more! Grab a friend or two or three and join us on Sunday!

This Color Dash 5k benefits:
Got Strings? Youth Orchestra and Bucks County Community College

Got Strings? is a 501c3 non-profit youth orchestra that was established in 2007. Got Strings? teaches students how to stay engaged in their passion for music by providing positive, energetic teaching methods that empower students to be their personal best by playing interesting and challenging music. Got Stings? has three levels; Advanced (grades 3-6), Extreme (grades 6-12), and INRUSH (high school– main performing group) INRUSH is known for winning People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice Awards at the 2014 Battle of the Bands.

Got Strings? plans on using the proceeds from the 5K in various areas of need; upgrading instruments or equipment, hiring high-caliber guest artists for master classes, and offsetting some of the funding to see INRUSH’s dream of playing at Disney 2016 come true.

Bucks County Community College will be using their proceeds for tuition scholarships for students.
